Applications, allocations, maintenance and tenancy support for on-reserve homes.

The Housing department manages the Nation’s band housing, roughly 195 units , covering new construction, ongoing maintenance, emergency repairs and how homes are allocated.

Housing allocations are approved by the Housing Committee rather than by staff alone, so applications are considered together rather than first-come-first-served.

Applying for housing

  1. Contact the Housing department through the band office at 306-423-5900 and ask for a housing application.
  2. Complete the application in full. Incomplete forms slow the process down.
  3. Applications go to the Housing Committee. Decisions are made by the committee, not by staff on their own.
  4. Ask about the current wait. With around 195 units, availability changes and the department can tell you where things stand.
