Public Works keeps water, waste and infrastructure running day to day. Most services operate on a fixed weekly schedule, so it is worth knowing which day yours falls on.
To report a problem or ask about a service day, call the band office at 306-423-5900.

Water hauling
Potable water delivery to homes on a three-day-a-week schedule.
- Runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday
- Call ahead if your cistern is running low
Septic services
Septic pump-outs and servicing, available every weekday.
- Monday to Friday
- Book through the band office
Waste Transfer Station
The community drop-off point for household and bulky waste.
- Open Monday to Friday
- Also open every other Sunday
Garbage & recycling
Regular collection, with bins emptied on a set day each week.
- Hauling Monday to Friday
- Bins emptied on Thursdays
- Recycling handled alongside collection
Roads & infrastructure
Maintenance of community roads and the infrastructure that supports housing.
- Road maintenance
- Infrastructure upkeep
- Coordination with Housing on servicing
Reporting a problem
- Call the band office at 306-423-5900 and describe the issue and location.
- Say whether it is urgent, no water, sewage backup and similar issues are prioritised over routine requests.
- Housing repairs go to Housing. If the problem is inside a band housing unit, the Housing department handles it.
