Clinical and community wellness services delivered on-reserve through the OAFN Health Clinic.
Health services at One Arrow are delivered through the OAFN Health Clinic, with a team covering nursing, home care, mental wellness, maternal and child health, and transportation to appointments. Most services are free to members and many can be arranged with a single phone call.
If you are not sure who to speak to, call the clinic at 306-423-5493 and staff will point you to the right person.
Services
Community Health Nurse
Nursing care and prevention for every stage of life, from newborns through to adults.
- Immunizations for infants, children, adults and prenatal clients
- School, flu and COVID-19 immunization clinics
- Communicable disease control and STI/STBBI testing
- Prenatal and postnatal care, assessments and infant monitoring
Home Care & LPN
Support that lets Elders and members with health needs stay in their own homes.
- Health assessments and care planning by home care nurses
- Nursing care delivered in the home and community
- Home health aides for personal care and respite
- Light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation
- Care while family caregivers are away
Medical Transportation
Rides to medical appointments on and off reserve, including after a hospital stay.
- Appointments within the community and out of town
- Return rides following a hospital discharge

Doctor Days
A physician attends the community three to four days a month, so members do not have to travel for routine care.
- Doctors attend from the Rosthern and Wakaw clinics
- The monthly schedule is shared with the community

Mental Health & Wellness
Counselling and healing supports, including cultural and land-based approaches.
- Individual and group counselling
- Cultural and traditional healing with Elder guidance
- Trauma-informed care and assessments
- Referrals to detox and stabilization, with follow-up after treatment
- Jordan's Principle supports for children and youth
Child & Family Well-Being
Family support, prevention and crisis response, including a 24-hour after-hours line.
- One-on-one and group support
- Cultural support and land-based learning
- Mental health counselling and addiction services

Maternal Child Representative
Support for pregnant members and families with babies and young children.
- Prenatal care coordination and nursing support
- Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP)

Your first point of contact if you are unsure which health service you need.
- Connects members to health programs and services
- Shares health information with the community
- Helps individuals access care
Booking medical transportation
- Call the Health Clinic at 306-423-5493 as soon as you have an appointment date.
- Give at least 48 hours notice where you can, so a driver and vehicle can be scheduled.
- Have your appointment details ready, date, time, clinic or hospital, and the town.
- For evenings and weekends, call 1-639-470-7492 instead of the main clinic line.
