Honouring knowledge keepers and the cultural life of the community.
Elders hold the knowledge, language and teachings of the Nation. The Elders Hall is the centre of that life, a gathering place for ceremony, for grieving, for celebration and for passing teachings to younger generations.
Elders also meet regularly as a group so that each viewpoint is heard and carried into community decisions.

The Nation’s main gathering space, used for the full range of community life.

- Intergenerational events where Elders share stories and teachings
Elders Meetings
Regular meetings where Elders discuss community matters and each voice is heard.
- General meetings open to Elders
- Views carried forward to Council
Tea Party
A regular gathering built around a shared meal and conversation.
- Shared meal and discussion of current events
- Topics include community wellness, youth safety and Elder teachings
- Bingo events to strengthen connections among Elders
Booking the Elders Hall
- Contact the band office at 306-423-5900 to ask about availability.
- Funerals and wakes take priority. The hall is the community’s space for grieving and that use comes first.
- Ask about setup and kitchen access when you book, so nothing is a surprise on the day.
